We're on a roll!

So since Mommy has a new camera and is taking all sorts of new pictures, Wendy, too has a renewed interest in her pretty purple camera.  She continues to improve and offer us little glimpses of what the world looks like to her wonderful little self.

Obviously she enjoys taking pictures of her little sis.  Or at least shoving a plastic thing in poor Daphne's face.  Either way, it is fun seeing her renewed interest in the camera.

In order to continue the interest (and to keep her occupied while I watched Daphne and Daddy went to the store) I had her play a game of Photographic Scavenger Hunt in which she had to go find and photograph various things in our back yard.  She had a lot of fun running around, and then would get very serious taking the picture, then run gleefully back to show me.  It was the best game ever.  Here is what happened:

I don't expect this level of focus on the camera to continue, but it sure has been fun this weekend!  The wonderful weather definitely helped.  Looking forward to seeing what captures her attention next.

Been awhile!

Well, it has been awhile.  Wendy now has a baby sister and had misplaced her camera for awhile.  That means that now that it has been located it is a FAVORITE THING again!  For now, here are some back pictures from about March - June 2013.  Enjoy!

I don't know about you, but I find some of these to be quite beautiful.

Late Spring 2013

Wendy's interest in photography continues to come in fits and starts.  She still runs around with her camera sometimes, but often she doesn't turn it on, or at least doesn't take pictures.  She does still insist on taking some when Mommy and Daddy get their camera out though, and here are some of those results:

Our camera is a bit more complex and she ends up with more of her finger in the shot than she does with hers, but some of these are pretty cute.  The last has a lovely shot of my super-puffy pregnant feet as a special bonus!  I am looking forward to seeing how Wendy captures images of her little sister when she gets here this summer.  For now, she continues to hone her skills on Brockett.
